IN MEMORIAM to the ARTISTS WE LOST THIS YEAR

and boy did we lose this year…

in_memoriam_key_image_0

Every industry took a major hit this year in loss of icons, but music arguably suffered the most.

For me Prince, David Bowie, Phife Dawg, George Michael, Glenn Frey, Leonard Cohen and Sharon Jones still have me reeling.

I started to organize my thoughts and emotions on the musicians we lost this year and just couldn’t. Luckily, NPR crafted a great list to document the sounds and souls that left us in 2016.
