In his first live set, 9th Sage delivered what he promised Saturday night in an event like no other.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: When you read about an event that The Hive Society says you should come to: YOU MAKE PLANS TO COME!
9th Sage and his friends delivered a chill, smooth atmosphere Saturday night interspersed with hints of turn-up. Audience members got to hear a lot of music they had never heard before, which is a welcomed relief for music lovers who are trying to escape the monotonous, repetitive world that is radio. Instead of having to scour the Internet in search of something to vibe out to, 9th Sage’s set gave some new vibes – as he hoped he would – for the Houston creative community to check out.
Among the performers were Philippe Eddison, Danny Watts, Brice Blanco, The Regal People, and of course, the man of the hour, 9th Sage.
9th said of the event, “I just want to thank those that did come out for coming out. It meant a lot to me and for my first show I feel that it went amazing. Of course a lot could have been better but overall, for some young creatives doing things by themselves, I feel it was the best night of my life.”
If you didn’t get to come out and support and hear the set, you’ll have to wait. His next gig is in St. Louis. But we’re given a bit of hope by the title of the show being “volume one” that we will get another show sooner rather than later.
Be sure not to miss this one!
