Clean it like you mean it!

It’s Spring time in our hemisphere and what better to honor Mama Earth for blessing us with the winter relief of sweet, sweet sunshine, than to help clean some of the “rivers, lakes, bays, ‘n’ bayous” of the Greater Houston Area in the next Trash Bash?

Trash Bash is a 22+ year old event the managed by the Texas Conservation Fund funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality managed by the Houston-Galveston Area Council.

You must register for Trash Bash to participate. Volunteers are provided lunch and educational exhibits after the cleaning event concludes!

This year the individual Trash Bash site locations include:
Armand Bayou (Bay Area Park)
Bastrop Bayou (Marlin Marina)
Brays Bayou (Mason Park)
Buffalo Bayou Upper (Terry Hershey Park)
Cypress Creek (Collins Park)
Dickinson Bayou (Highway 3 Bridge)
Galveston Bay (Seabrook – Bay Elementary)
Galveston Bay (Virginia Point Peninsula Preserve)
Lake Conroe (Cagle Recreation Area)

Little White Oak Bayou (Moody Park)
Sims Bayou (Glenbrook/Reveille/Sims Woods Parks)
