WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT…

Future and his incessant commentary on his past relationship with Ciara, turned attacks on Russell Wilson

3a54605441acb7db638ba7f5d789d3

I cannot roll my eyes enough at this situation. Future, you fucked up. Period. You cannot catch a case when a woman you cheated on eventually moves on (and upgrades for that matter). What happened between y’all [should be] is private; when you insist on constantly bringing it up, and now the public has something to say about it all, again, you CANNOT catch a case. What Ciara and Russell Wilson decided to do [or not do] is [SHOULD BE] private. You dropped a fire album on your own and another with company by way of Drake– don’t make unnecessary publicity for yourself. Furthermore, do not create situations that will allow f’bois, like yourself, to add and give unwanted opinions. You are all salty and need some sugar in your life, sugar you let go.

Meek Mill vs. Drake

50-cent-and-ja-rule-talk-about-drake-and-meek-mills-beef-33-1

Dear Meek Feels–
I’m sorry, Freudian slip. Meek Mill.
WTF were you thinking?! I get it- sure Drake seems like an easy target, he has all the negatives working against him in an industry and genre that glorifies “being hard” and “gangster.” He’s a former child actor in which his character was in a wheelchair, he’s Canadian, he’s half white and a huge momma’s boy to his Jewish mother, he’s a total goofball and openly admits his sensitivities and vulnerabilities as a human being and musician- it should be easy to take him down, right?

WRONG. And how wrong you were… Drake is not just a rapper, he is an entity. A cross-cultural, global brand, adored world-wide by the likes of the young and old, black, white, yellow and purple. Any attempt to dethrone him, good or bad, was a risk – and not a well calculated one as you now have learned, because falling/failing to Drake means international embarrassment. Middle-aged Caucasian weather men are taking jabs at you. You, or rather your dead career, was a Halloween costume this year. Who did this? You did this to yourself.

The internet is ruthless, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I just want to know why- and not the varied reasons I’ve read all over the internet, but the REAL reasons why; especially considering you yourself had a solid album reach the charts earlier in the year FEATURING a track with Drake (that hits in my opinion) and are dating/engaged/whatever TF y’all are KWEEN Nicki Minaj. If you thought this stunt would give you gain in some traction in your career, now I have to ask, was it worth it? The back and forth between yourself and Drake, though entertaining as an unaffected third party, was equally cringe-worthy. You literally “got bodied by a singing nigga” with numerous memes about him being a basketball wife/fan girl to professional athletes… I’m shaking my head while writing this. Do better, or rather CHOOSE better. Next time, please don’t go after one of the biggest, most relevant stars in the world right now- and should you willingly take such a risk, you’ve got to come correct- far more than the diss tracks we heard from you this summer.

Sincerely,
Confused and Humored

PS. “Back 2 Back” is now Grammy nominated. Insult to injury.

Tyga and Kylie Jenner
Now, I don’t want to devote too much time to this monstrosity, but I can’t review 2015 without my formal non-shipment of the Tyga-Kylie affair. That shit is disgusting and was illegal for quite some time. Period. Khloe, Kris and the rest of those talent-less, annoying, culturally appropriating ass hussies can get mad, sad or glad at Amber Rose, Blac Chyna, etc etc. but the truth of the matter is, it’s wrong- whether or not she knows it yet, whether or not she’ll ever publicly admit it in the future- it’s ALL wrong. Maybe she’ll confess her regrets on TV just like her hypocritical ass big sis, Khloe one day… *takes sip of tea*

Tidal
We all know what this is about. Yes, Tidal needs some streamlining and work but the attacks on the idea are just haters hoping Jay-Z will fail. The reviews of Tidal are SO extra, as if Tidal is responsible for all wars and childhood cancer. Calm down. I’m sure Tidal will find its stride in time.

Why are the James Bond theme son gs always so lack-luster?
QTNA
[Go to urbandictionary.com if this acronym went over your head] From Alicia Keys and Jack White to Adele to Thom Yorke, the title song to the never ending additions to the Bond movies never evoke the sleek, cool, action-packed, exciting, unrealistic, awe-inspiring notions, the iconic films are suppose to give.

Robert Kelly, “R. Kelly”
Sigh. Despite my better feminist judgement, I can’t help but love the music you graced us with throughout the 90’s and 2000s. That said, I am fully cognizant of the human garbage that you are, and you need to do the same. As a celebrity, an acclimated one at that with a career spanning decades now, you should be well aware that some things just stick to your reputation and will be forever associated with your name. As a celebrity, who has been to trial for sex acts with minors and more, please be aware that these things just stick to your reputation and will be forever associated with your name- AS THEY SHOULD. You are not allowed to feel some type of way because quite a few people are disgusted by your past actions. You are not allowed to throw fits when someone brings up your past and dismiss it as such, because it will forever be present in the minds of those effected by it- directly and indirectly. You will never fully regain the favor of the general public, period. You made your bed (and filmed it and peed in it as well as conducted other actions…) now lie in it.
