Hot weather, hot people, exercise and philantropy- that’s exactly what you’re getting with the Hot Undies Run on Saturday, August 1st in Rice Village.
The two mile pub run in your undies draws nearly 1,000 runners (as well as joggers and walkers alike) that starts and ends at the Gorgeous Gael Irish Pub in Rice Village (Houston, TX). All proceeds from our event including race registrations, raffle ticket sales, and individual fundraising are donated to our two charities of choice! So please join in the fun and help us reach our fundraising goal of $25,000 this year! -Hot Undies Run
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is the world’s leading nonprofit health agency dedicated to finding treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases. We do so by funding worldwide research; by providing comprehensive health care services and support to MDA families nationwide; and by rallying communities to fight back through advocacy, fundraising and local engagement. -MDA.org
The Muscular Dystrophy Association provides awareness for dozens of muscle diseases including, but not limited to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Spinal-Bulbar Muscular Atrophy (SBMA) and Phosphorylase Deficiency to name a few.
Undies for Everyone collects and distributes under to Houston students using two delivery systems, directly into the hands of the students and through low-income school nurses when a student has an accident. Started in 2008 as a blog post, UFE has distributed more than 140,000 pair of underwear, believing that clean underwear keeps children in the classroom and bullies at bay. -Undies for Everyone
Release some inhibitions, and use the August sun as an excuse to wear nothing and do some good! There will be plenty of participating bars to keep you refreshed along the way!
