Marking its 44th year as one of Houston’s prominent events, The Bayou City Art Festival will be held in Memorial Park from March 26th–29th.
The producer of the festival, Art Colony Association, Inc. has raised millions of dollars benefiting various local nonprofit organizations and art outreach education programs. The festival displays impressive work from various national and international artists. Including work from over 400 artists in 19 different mediums, the Bayou City Art Festival does not run short on displaying the ingenuity and creativity from diverse artists. Furthermore, the creation of the New Student Art Park gives young, emerging artists from Houston area schools the opportunity to display their work and learn the importance of art in education.
The Bayou City Art Festival is a fun family friendly event that includes food, music, and creative zones. Attendees have the opportunity to purchase artwork and meet with the artists. More importantly, it greatly benefits the Houston area through its philanthropic efforts in giving back to nonprofit organizations.
