The Hive Society = a collective of young Houstonians who consider themselves lovers of music, art, culture and community. Believing in philanthropy, we have combined forces, using our passions of music and art, and our talents to fulfill the organization’s mission.

Showcasing our first official #HIVELIFE Day of 2015, this service project was done at of our favorite local non-profit organization– the Houston Food Bank.  The Bees, with our community event director Raquel Seymone at the helm, coordinated a service project where over 100 volunteers were to clear 44 palettes to fill 5,280 backpacks for Houston Food Bank’s #BackPackBuddy Program. With 6 meals per backpack, we made over 31,680 meals that morning for hungry children in need! Various volunteers were awarded with FREE concert tickets to see WALE and LOGIC thanks to our Friends over at Scoremore Shows who also came out to volunteer with us! That’s #HIVELIFE: Practicing & Encouraging Philanthropy through Music, The Arts, and Culture. Check out our 4th #HiveLife Short directed by local up-and-coming director Michael Chhay!
