The Hive Society’s DJ AudiTory puts together the perfect mixtape for those cold, rainy days. Check out #FieldTripsForver4.
I am glad I can be proud of the things which The Hive Society does. We’ve got a pretty cool thing going on here and I’m honored to be a part of it. One of the things I’m most proud of is the birth of #FieldTripsForever. It started off as a mixtape curated by the bees for the bees, we just decided to share it with our friends. #FTF1 happened and seeing our idea came to frution when we realized this couldn’t be a fluke. Then DJ AudiTory collaborated with Third World TV for #FTF2 and it had alllllllll the jams. Next came FTF3, and we knew without a doubt we had a good thing. How could we NOT keep this going?!
As a promise to you from The Bees, Field Trips Forever is here to stay.
Of course the first field trip of 2015 had to be done properly and, no gas, Field Trips Forever 4 is perfect.
It complements the cold, rainy weather most of us have been battling in a way that only great music can. The cover art, shot by 9th Sage, perfectly conveys the mood of the mixtape. It’s “crack the window on a rainy day and get under a throw blanket and chill” kind of project. Someone may or may not have described it as having “sensual thug” vibe, but that’s neither here nor there.
Field Trips Forever 4’s track list runs the gamut of dope shit. We took LOE‘s “Diablo” and Mara Hruby‘s “The Panties”, mixed it in with a little Sade, Ty Dolla $ign, Maxo Kream and YGTut and we ended up with this wonderful blend of awesomeness. I could go on and on about this project but I’ll keep my stanning to a minimum.
Check out Field Trips Forever 4 and let us know what you think!
