Soulection & AGO super producer, Sango, release a collaborative track call “JMK.” I really, truly wish I knew what sample was used because the way Sango incorporated it into the production, whilst switching tempos was nothing short of amazing.

Sango is a Seattle-born, now Grand Rapids, Michigan based, producer who is most known for his remixes of Aaliyah, Drake, Little Dragon, Nas, The Weeknd, and his debut album North. He is currently signed to Los Angeles record label Soulection, and music collective AGO. At the young age of 12, Sango started producing music alongside his older brother and his friends. His work mainly focuses on hip-hop and soul influenced beats that over the years have been able to come together as his own distinctive innovative sound. (via

SPZRKT (pronounced Spazzy Rocket) was born in Monterey, California, into an already very musical family. At the age of 3, SPZRKT took an interest in music, particularly drums. He began watching and learning from drummers at church. By the age of 12, he had already been his church’s primary drummer for a year and found a new interest in rapping. He would make beats on his father’s keyboard and record, along with his lyrics, to a cassette tape (hence the reason he wears a cassette tape whenever he ministers & performs). At age 14, he reconnected with his old childhood friend Elhae and met Grizzly Freeman. They formed a group named Movement Of Truth (M.o.T). In 2008 the group signed to a label under the distribution of Universal Christian Music Group and gained a lot of fanfare. Their moment was cut short when the deal fell through in May 2010, and the group decided to split that August. It was not until January 1st, 2012 that Spazzy Rocket was heard from again. Two months later, he mashed his name into SPZRKT, to represent his mash-up of styles, pay homage to a few of his favorite electric artists (MSTRKRFT, SBTRKT), and to have a standout name in the Christian hip-hop community. He is set to release his first ever solo mixtape on June 5th, 2012. The story of SPZRKT has just begun. (Via
