Kendrick Lamar releases the “i” music video, directed By Alexandre Moors & The Little Homies
The good kid from Compton releases a proper video treatment for his latest single “i”. The “i” music video complement the hug-yourself, love yourself anthem and starts off in a nightclub where K.Dot is chilling while getting his hair retwisted. The scene seems to be chill with lots of gorgeous people having what seems to be an authentic good time… until a fight breaks out.
The fisticuffs are quickly diffused by Kendrick Lamar‘s uptempo song “i” and the party moves to the rooftop.

I have avoided this song since the day iHeart Media jammed it down our throats, playing it every hour on the hour the day of its release. I just didn’t like it and I genuinely tried to. It’s grown on me just a little, mostly because my 12-year old brother loves it, but this “i” music video might make me give it another spin or two.
The song will appear on Lamar’s yet-to-be-titled new album that we’re still waiting on.
