Brooklyn’s favorite DJ, producer and well known sneaker collector DJ Clark Kent will be hosting an art exhibit in celebration of the 20th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.’s debut album Ready To Die. Set to be held at Brooklyn’s The Bishop Gallery on September 20th, the exhibit is titled, The Only Christopher We Acknowledge is Wallace, lyrics from Jay-Z’s “Oceans” track off his Magna Carta Holy Grail album. The title seems fitting seeing as DJ Clark Kent was the one who introduced Biggie and Jay-Z at a studio in 1996 and produced “Brooklyn’s Finest” on Jay-Z’s debut album Reasonable Doubt.

Pay attention to The Hive this week as we have something special lined up for the anniversary of Ready To Die which dropped September 13th, 1994. Also, we have one of our bees in Brooklyn now, so we may have a recap for you on this dope exhibit.
