First off, let me start this off by saying this was extremely dope. The creativity behind the music and the visuals are phenomenal. GoldLink will be giving the world his new project “The God Complex” April 1st, 2014. To give fans a taste of what’s to come, he has released a short film for “The God Complex (When I Die).” Yes, short film. (Despite the 2 minutes and 32 seconds film length.)The film is GoldLink’s vision based on the ideology of being a reckless kid in the streets, feeling invincible. It also serves as postmortem symbolism; it shows what he thinks his environment will be like after he passes.

PLOT TWIST: You won’t see GoldLink in the video. The stars of the video are part of a hip-hop collective from Baltimore called the 7th Floor Villains.  Nathan R. Smith definitely did a dope job shooting this short film. Check it out and tell us what you think!
